Long time between working with data bases, last one was 4th Dimension. I am a Mac user, no problems with any of the other facilities in Libre, but I am unable to get anywhere with database. Looking to prepare a simple contacts and sales data base, room for notes and sales activity reports. Any help for an ageing, becoming less computer literate but enthusiastic trier, most welcome
Take the Base Guide. It’s older than the German original, but in the first chapter you find “A simple database - a detailed example”. Its written step by step from creating tables, connecting tables, creating queries, creating a form and creating a report.
