Writer 4.0 has problems with tables placement

Hi,
I’m writing my Master thesis with LibreOffice 4. Everything goes pretty well except an annoying issue with tables placement.

My document contains some long tables which fit on several pages, and in that case the problem is LOW automatically places the tables on the top of the next page instead of placing the table in the text flow.

As a result, some pages contain only 1 or 2 lines of text and the rest remains empty because the table begins on the next page.

Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

Ok found the trick.

Select the table, go the Table → Table properties → Text flow and uncheck “Keep with next paragraph”.

Done.
