Please how do I show Comments made in Track Changes mode?

I have found I can view the comments in Manage Changes window, the comments appear as tooltip popups, and there is an improvement over Oo that the tooltip popups here are text wrapped so that the whole comment is visible, but there must be a better/ easier way?

I’m doing some proofreading and want to be able to explain simply to the author how to view my comments explaining a few of my changes. So I need to not just be able to view them myself but also show the author in a simple way, like MS Word track changes and comments.

I did search the Help files and the forum here first. The Help files only have information on how to view Comments in Calc, not in Writer. I might have got confused with Oo Help files, but I think it said you can view comments through Navigator, but I tried that and it says I have zero comments, but in Manage Changes it shows I have two. Bug or are those referring to different types of ‘Comments’?

Hi KesterR

LO-5 is from LibreOffice Fresh & as such may be buggy. You need to get used to using Bugzilla (or the Bug Assistant).

One alternative is to use LibreOffice Still (more stable, less exciting).
