I want to record a series of operations for repeating in a Writer document. How to do that is not included in the Writer Guide, but in various places on the web I am told to use Menu => Tools => Macros => Record Macro; but no such option appears in Menu => Tools => Macros.
Other suggestions on the web tell me that I can add it to Menu => Tools => Macros by using Menu => Tools => Customize, but when I look in Target => Tools | Macros it is already in that group.
I tried deleting it and re-adding it, but it still doesn’t appear in Menu => Tools => Macros.
How can I get Record Macro to appear in the Tools => Macros group?
I found that in Tools => Options => LibreOffice => Advanced There is an Optional Features toggle to Enable macro recording (may be limited) which when checked makes Record Macro appear in Menu => Tools => Macros.
