Writer: compare documents not in Edit menu

I see references to a compare document item in the Writer edit menu. For example

compare documents

However I do not see the item in this release

I have both documents loaded, but don’t see the compare option in the Edit menu of either document. Am I missing something? Or …

First open just one document, the newer one.

Edit > Track Changes > Compare documents

Look in the help menu under “compare”.
