It stops at a random point in the document instead of picking up where I last was/edited. I reset my profile using safe mode, and it seemed to fix it-then as soon as I edited the writer document colors to my taste (background etc) it stopped working again…please advise this is so annoying
You could press Shift+F5 to jump to last place.
If you have not entered any name (your own, Mickey Mouse, or anything) in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User Data then LibreOffice will not know who you are and will not take you to your last location when you open a file.
