Writer inteface reverts to general LibreOffice interface

When I use LibreOffice writer 7.6.7.2 (X86-64) to open a document and then close it, the interface that comes back is the general interface for all libreoffice programs (the one that expects you select from writer, calc, impress, draw etc.) Is this suppose to happen?

I’d prefer that LibreOffice writer stay in the LibreOffice writer interface.

When there is no document loaded, no document can be displayed.

Workaround, open a new document and type a character to prevent it being overwritten when you open an existing document.

Leave the document open while you open and close other documents

Basically, a setModified call is enough
