I’m trying to insert images into a document and after having selected a few images Writer now keeps inserting the same (presumably cached) image despite me selecting a different one every time.
LibreOffice version? Operative system?

I managed to insert a few more images into my document before Writer started playing up again. This time the image that Writer keeps wanting to insert is the first one in the document despite my selecting a completely different file.
Interestingly, I converted all of my images to PNG files from JPGs and the processes seems to work more reliably with my converted images.
Image insertion also seems to work more reliably with smaller (file size) images too. The images I was trying to insert into my document were photographs usually 1.5 - 3 mb in size.
