New, first-time install of LibreOffice on a new Windows 7 machine. A simple 9-page .odt doc with inserted pics Saves, but crashes LibreOffice on any attempted Save As . . . Making a copy of the .odt doc in Windows Explorer results in a crash of Windows Explorer with any attempt to rename the copy. Successfully exported as PDF.

I am having the same problem. Started with LO3 (I forget which update). I downloaded LO4, hoping it would fix the problem, but saving is still unreliable at best. I have a Win8 system. I’ve used LO for 18 months and loved it until this problem made it essentially useless. Problem started for me about 2 months ago. Does anyone have an answer? I’ve been looking for a long time, and am about to give up and go back to Microsoft.
