Writer. Replace formatting does not work

LibreOffice Writer 4.4.3.2

I try to find a text with one font name and replace it with another font with bold style.
If I tick “Including Styles”, it does successfully find the text for replacing,
but it never replace the text that was found.


I tried replacing with: “&”, “$1”, “$0”, even with “Abracadabra” - it does not replace the text and/or format at all.

I do something wrong, any help?

P.S. I saved the file in RTF, replaced font name in Text editor and reopened it in LO again, but failed to exchange normal font style to bold.

Have you tried “&” with the “Including Styles” NOT checked?

Yep, I tried searching without Styles. In this case Writer finds nothing.
