This worked fine in 6.4, just upgraded to 7.2 today and have a failure. Ubuntu 20.04. When I select text (click mouse/drag) in the English part of my doc, works fine. When I click and/or drag in the Hebrew part, it selects from that point to the bottom of the doc. Is there some new setting? Same whether double-clicking a word or dragging.
