Writer: Sort Labels

I have a document of Avery labels and I needed to add a couple of labels.
I want the labels on the page to be in sorted order. I manually inserted them where they belonged, but is there a way to just sort the labels?
I don’t even see a way to select all the labels at once, much less use any tools on them.
NOTE: This is NOT sorting labels in a CALC spreadsheet. These are labels for printing in a Writer doc.

You cannot sort frames; frames are the labels in Writer.

The Writer guide, Chapter 14, Mail Merge, deals with printing labels as well. Once the spreadsheet is registered as a database, you can sort on any field from the Writer interface to achieve your desired order.

Most likely this is a text document including a (text) table? Tables in Writer can be sorted if (partly or etirely) selected. Then go to menu Tools | Sort….

Are there special sections or frames in the table cells?
