Writer table not printing with row background colour

Hi,

I’ve created a table and I chose the style “Simple Grid Rows” which gives a darker grey top row for column headers, then alternating clear and light grey rows. Makes it easier to follow each row with the eye.

When I print it, only the top row with the darker grey prints with that background. All other rows are clear, no background colour.

Any ideas please?

The light grey rows are 238, 238, 238, so quite close to white. Typically, the printer will use colours to emulate grey for light greys, if you have no colour left in your printer or you have a black and white printer it might not be able to print such a light grey.

If your table exports to pdf with the light grey OK, then it is probably a printer issue.

Personally, I do not use the table styles in Writer as they later override any styling changes you make to the table.
