I’m testing out writer2latex embedded in Writer with a 580-page document in Writer, which displays correctly in Writer, with a Contents list and an Index. On converting to Latex I find the pdf file, as displayed in TexStudio, exhibits the following problems:

the page numbering keeps returning to 1 in the footers, showing typically: ‘238 of 580’ in the top bar, but ‘Page 101 of 91’ in the page footer. It’s always ‘91’!

The Contents listing of chapter titles appears correctly, except that it is preceded by a complete listing of all the subtitles throughout the book.
