hi,
using libre office 6.4.0.3 (x64), i have a column formatted with dd/mm/yy date.
when running a pivot table the date fields are in numerical form (e.g. 14/06/2018 becomes 43265).
I than need to select the date cells and manually modify the format, but every time I refresh the pivot table it all goes back to the wrong format.
using previous LO versions I didn’t have tihis problem and dates appeared in the pivot table in the same format of the matrix field

If you have the data in the same calc file on another tab then format the column how you want it and it will be pulled through on the PT (same goes for all ‘number’ columns).
You can adjust the styles for PT but number styles are ignored.
If you are using external data, say from a registered database, then no luck as the PT style does not get pulled through from the source data.
