You can't open the application "LibreOffice.app" because this application is not supported on this Mac

Hallo,

I just downloaded LibreOffice 25.2.0 on MacOS 14.7.3, but when I try to open LibreOffice I get an popup saying:

You can’t open the application “LibreOffice.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac.

And when I open “Settings” → “Privacy & Security” there is NO entry to start libreoffice with “Open Anyway”.

So how can I start LibreOffice on my mac? Or shall I install an older version?

There are different downloads for different architectures, you may have gotten the wrong one. If you have an older, Intel-based Mac, choose the operating system “macOS (Intel)”. If you have a newer, M1 or higher Mac, choose “macOS (Apple Silicon)”.
