I was planning on making a bitcoin donation to your organization. In your donation webpage under the bitcoin option it mentions that bitcoin donations are normally anonymous which makes tracking them more difficult. I tried to donate and was directed to what appeared to be a 3rd party that demanded I supply an email address.
I would hazard that you lose a lot of bitcoin donations by not having an easily posted bitcoin receiving address.
It is not difficult to setup a bitcoin wallet for your groups usage. Once that wallet is setup and synchronized with the bitcoin blockchain you can use the wallet to generate a bitcoin receive address. That address can then be posted on your website and anyone wanting to donate bitcoin to you would use that address and the bitcoin would be almost instantly deposited into your wallet.
Is there some legal reason you are not using this method in regards to accepting bitcoin donations?
Sincerely
David P. Zimmerman
