Zotero extensions don't work in LibreOffice 7.2: Solutions?

Hello,

I just upgraded to LibreOffice 7.3 for the Mac, without realizing it does NOT support the Java Runtime environment used by Zotero.

I get the message, “The LibreOffice configuration has been changed. Under LibreOffice - Preferences - LibreOffice - Advanced, select the Java runtime environment you want to have used by LibreOffice.”

I attempted to use my old LibreOffice Version: 6.3.4.2 and I reinstalled the Zotero extensions. I think it is now loading the 7.3 Java Runtime environment and the Zotero extensions will still not work.

Is there a way to use LibreOffice 7.3.03 with Zotero?

As a work around, I’m downgrading to libreoffice 6.4.7.2. Crossing my fingers that will work.

Thanks, I managed to get my old LibreOffice up and running again with the Zotero extensions working (which was the reason for my down grade).
