Add fodp, fodt ... to allowed upload filename extensions for Ask.LibO?

I just posted Tool to compare element styles? (or: text frame will not align in Impress) - Ask LibreOffice, and I wanted to upload an .fodp file, which is a “Flat XML” odp file (see also Exporting an office document as single, flat, plain-text XML file?).

And it turns out, .fodp extension is not allowed, as I got this in the error message:

allowed file types are ‘.jpg’, ‘.jpeg’, ‘.gif’, ‘.bmp’, ‘.png’, ‘.tiff’, ‘.odt’, ‘.ods’, ‘.odp’, ‘.odg’, ‘.odc’, ‘.odf’, ‘.odi’, ‘.odm’, ‘.ott’, ‘.ots’, ‘.otp’, ‘.otg’, ‘.odb’, ‘.doc’, ‘.docx’, ‘.xls’, ‘.xlsx’, ‘.ppt’, '.pptx

Since the .fodp, .fodt etc Flat XML files are (supposedly) OpenOffice/LibreOffice filetypes, is it possible that they could be added as “allowed”, to the upload filter of Ask.LibO?

This question / answer are related. The range of available file types has recently been increased to include most ODF types, but it required a bug report to do so. Please file a bug and provide as much information about this new feature as possible i.e., give a concise list of required types. Post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format “fdo#123456”. Thanks.

Many thanks for that @oweng; I will post back here as soon as I’ve posted a bug. Cheers!

This was just posted up to BZ as fdo#85593

Bug moved to Redmine as infrastructure issue #1120.
