Animation needs multiple clicks

While using impress animations, I add a single object to “appear” during the slide show. However, it takes 4-5 clicks for the object to appear. I would like to make the object appear in 1 click.

A sample file is attached for you to try. Launch the file and enter the slide show mode. Text box with “random text…” takes many clicks to appear.

I am guessing this is due to text box with multiple bullet levels, but I am not sure.

Please help me understand this problem and provide solutions if you have any?

There seems to be a corruption, because the content.xml subfile have for the same element on-click, and with-previous (1, 2, 3 and 4 times in different elements).
This file was imported?

@LeroyG It is possible. I have been using this template for years without such problems. However, the original template was for MS powerpoint I think.
