Auto-correct causes high cpu usage when typing Hebrew or Arabic

Hello,

I’m using LibreOffice 5.2.3.1 on Debian Gnu/Linux. In Writer, when auto-correct “While Hyping” option is checked (i.e., auto correct is done while typing) and I’m typing Hebrew or Arabic, the CPU usage jumps to nearly 100%, which slows down, even freezes, LibreOffice writer. When I change back to English everything seems to be normal.

Any ideas what to check? Or could it be a bug?

Kind of duplicate of Typing a space in a Hebrew documents causes lag

Could indeed be the same problem - I guess that the “auto correct” mechanism is invoked when the user adds a space, indicating the end of a word.
