I find dark color mode easier on my eyes. But once I’ve changed it in my microsoft settings… the calc dropdowns are illegible because the text does not flip to white… black on black?!? Is there a fix?
Can you provide the versions of Windows and LO? Help>About>Copy Icon then paste into edit of your original question.
On the following, LO ignores dark mode completely:
Version: 7.3.4.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 728fec16bd5f605073805c3c9e7c4212a0120dc5
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL
Windows 11 on new ACER Desktop
LO = 7.4.1.2
I tried setting LibreOffice to Dark Mode in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Personalisation and in …LibreOffice > Application Colours > Colour Scheme. I then switched Windows to Dark Mode and the menus were dark grey on black as described. On restarting LibreOffice the menus reverted to grey with black text.
If you have LibreOffice open when you change the Windows system to Dark Mode then you need to restart LibreOffice before all the changes are fully implemented.
That seems to have done the trick… thank you!
