Other sites offering advice and free templates (e.g. How to create an e-book chapter template in LibreOffice Writer | Opensource.com and Basic Book Template for LibreOffice – John Osterhout) are easy to find on the Web. I fear I can offer no advice on how useful and reliable any of them are.
And if you are not being required to use a particular publisher’s template LO makes it easy and instructive to design something to your own liking.
