as the title says, in win10 with Writer, when I use that font and sometimes I make it bold on .odf file, when I turn the file to PDF the bold effect disappear everywhere. this is an old problem.
what can I do other than not using that font that perhaps I love?
Bugs should be posted in Bugzilla.
See bugs tdf#108497, and variable font support on which it would depend tdf#103596.
Maybe you could try Google font Signika as a possible substitute?

Thanks for the tip - very useful!
SOLUTION I found:
in win10, we should convert it by using âmicrosoft print to PDFâ, this eliminates the problem.
Just to note: âThe downside of âPrint to PDFâ is that the receiver canât convert the PDF into text or select text from the PDF.â
I would rather use a different font than to lose bookmark links, hyperlinks, footnote links, etc.
In any event, I now always try to substitute proprietary fonts with open source fonts.
Thank you my friend!
Bahnschrift is a variable font and LibreOffice didnât properly embed variable fonts in PDF prior to 7.5 release.
