Is there yet a way to increase the font size of items on the Calc formatting (or other) toolbars? I know this topic has been aired before, but I understood font-sizing was to be restored after having been previously removed.
Over a decade ago I created a couple of sheet-manipulation macros I’ve been using ever since. However Calc 7.5.4.1 displays the macro-names on the toolbar in such tiny font they’re difficult to read and easy to mistake, which can be dangerous.
The reason given at the time - see https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/increase-font-size-of-calc-formula-toolbar-in-libreoffice-version-6/31020 - was that users should rely on global O/S scaling to adjust fonts.
But the problem with that approach is that it’s global. I have no issue with display scaling in any other application, so increasing scaling to suit the names of Calc macros means that everything else is huge. A better way of looking at the problem IMO is “why are Calc toolbars so different”?
Any prospect of change?
