Can I remove my name and date from a spreadsheet cell comment?

Hi all. I’m new here, and don’t know my way around. I was wondering if someone could assist, please.
Last week I changed from OpenOffice to LibreOffice, and notice that all my cell comments in a spreadsheet now have my name and a date at the top of the comment box. I don’t need or want this in the box, and I expect there’s an easy way to remove this, but I just can’t fathom it out. I’m using a Mac, if that makes any difference. Can anyone assist?
Thanks in advance.

No.
It seems you have a very fresh version of LibreOffice (24.2 ?).
Since 7.5.4.2 (or later) the related behaviour was changed.
Author and date of CellAnnotation in Calc were always stored, but to see them you needed to rely on user code.
Now the information is shown (in bold) if the annotation itself is NOT set visible, and the mouse is hovering over the cell.
There is no related option, and even a deletion of the information by user code is blocked (“read only”).
I would assume there will soon be a related bug report. Probably the previous behaviour will be restored.
