Can I set "search in" option to "values" permanently in Calc's search toolbar?

This question has already been asked in 2014 but is still unanswered: Can I set "search in" option to "values" permanently in Calc's search toolbar? Somebody closed this old question for no apparent reason as mentioned in the comments there.

So: We have many Calc documents with no formulas at all (pricelists with over 100 pages). Everything in these documents is a “Value” not a “Formula”. Every single time we search for something we have to manually change the “Search in” field first.

Somebody wrote that “Formulas” actually means “Formulas AND Values” but this not correct! You can’t search for manually entered text without changing the “search in” field to “values”.

We would really need the option to change the default for “Search in” to “Values”!

Thanks,
Florian

You are wrong; you can search for manually entered text in cells when the setting is “Formulas”. Just to check, I have entered a word “good” into a cell, and tried to search for “goo” using the Find toolbar (Ctrl+F), without changing any settings (and after I expectedly succeeded, I checked that current settings were indeed “Formulas”). If you can’t, then it’s unexpected, ad you need to describe your problem in details (possibly with an attached sample spreadsheet, where you see the problem).
