Can LibreOffice convert EPUB to PDF?

Hi,

I tried converting EPUB to PDF using a headless libreoffice 6.4.0.1 but it doesn’t seem to work.
From the supported format on the Wikipedia page, it doesn’t seem to be able to read EPUB, does that mean it cannot convert EPUB to PDF?
Is that page up to date?

I found this info on the website and wikipedia
1)

https://www.libreoffice.org/discover/libreoffice/
LibreOffice is compatible with a wide range of document formats such as Microsoft® Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx) and Publisher. But LibreOffice goes much further with its native support for a modern and open standard, the Open Document Format (ODF).

I found this thread and noticed that libreoffice can write as EPUB since version 6?

My personal findings:

  1. LibreOffice has no import function.
  2. Neither Writer nor Draw offer a possibility to open Epup files directly.

And yes, there is an export function for EPUP exclusively in Writer.

So it might be a good practice to save documents for Epup purposes first in Writer as an ODT file and keep that file as the source. You can then export the ODT file as Epup.

Probably best to use something like Calibre for converting from epub

From what I read, Calibre is an extension, I can use Libreoffice headless with Calibre?

I would think that @EarnestAl is referring to the stand alone program Calibre - https://calibre-ebook.com/
