I’d like to create a button that activates a RANDBETWEEN macro assigned to an absolute cell reference (so that every click of the button changes the random number in only the cell to which the macro was assigned). Presently, my macro will alter the cell value within the given range, but only in the cell where the mouse is currently clicked. I’d like my button push to change the value in only the one cell preselected in the design specification. Is this possible in Calc? I’ve been pecking around for a while and the logic escapes me. Thanky kindly…
Please upload your ODF type sample file together with your embedded macro.
Hi Tibor,
I found the time to combine some of my tools to a partly funny, partly very provisional “solution” containing comments (e.g. dissuading from the usage of buttons for such a purpose). You (or the questioner) may be interested.
