Extension Update yields installation error

Continuing the discussion from Calc: Sorting numbers ("Text") pasted from a text editor:

After downloading an extension, and clicking OK to install it, I got the spinning wheel (on my mac) and had to force quit LO.

I restarted LO and got the following error message:

For the time being it looks as if the extension works as expected, but is it possible to make sure the installation was successful and there won’t be any unexpected results?

Strange message. This extension has not been updated since it was first published. I’m sorry you had to get nervous during the installation process. Most likely, this is some kind of error in the extension manifest, in the link to the update source.
