when i try to update my Xubuntu , i am getting the following Error.
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/libreoffice-common_1%3a4.2.7-0ubuntu2_all.deb: trying to overwrite ‘/usr/bin/soffice’, which is also in package openoffice-debian-menus 4.1-9764
The problem is with a package of libreoffice .
Please tell me how to update it so that i can upgrade the system OS
Hi, uninstall all version, open console and write: sudo apt-get remove libreoffice* and now add the repository launchpad of libreoffice 4.3 : https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/libreoffice-4-3 … Now open console and: sudo apt-get update, apt-get install libreoffice
