Writer 6.1. Font does not look smooth, even though Anti-aliasing has been enabled. It looks rougher than Microsoft Word, and even than Wordpad, which itself is rougher than Microsoft Word.
I did some experiments. I disabled OpenGL and then it looked the same as Wordpad, but still not as smooth as Microsoft Word. Is this because I am using Intel Graphics? Both of my machines are using Intel’s integrated graphics. If I used a more expensive discrete graphics cards such as GeForce, would the font look as smooth as Microsoft Word?
I would disable OpenGL, but if I do so, there is a lot of flickering in dialogue boxes such as Templates (new file).
