Form Labels broken in version 25.2.5.2

Version: 25.2.5.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community

Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS

LibreOffice has recently updated on my Linux system and now my forms look horrible.
All labels now have a 3D sunken effect.
I have tried editing the form and changing the label control properties from “3-D look” to “Without frame” (which was a pain to do because I have lots of fields), saved the form and it reverts to 3-D look.
I tried again this time also saving the database (as well as the form), closing base and re-starting, the result is the same the forms reverts to 3-D effect.

This is a real problem for me as I have a number of forms which are highly populated and the 3-D effect on the Labels overlaps the data entry fields. This was never been a problem for the last 5 years and just appeared in the last few days.

Is this just me, confined to Linux (Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS) or a general issue?

may be ?

Wait for an update to 25.2.6. It will be fixed.

Many thanks, will wait.

Happens in OpenSUSE Tumbleweed with 25.2.5.2 as well.

I have now installed the pre-release version 25.8.0.2(x86_64) from the LibreOffice website.
This problem is now fixed (no idea what other problems there are).

Just found out that reports now don’t work due to lack of JRE in 25.8.0.2.
Normally this is added by selecting Tools/options/advanced and selecting a JRE from the box, but nothing is listed.

Gave up and went back to 25.2.5.2 - (struggled to remove 25.8.0.2)

menu:Form>Form Navigator…
Ctrl-Click all the labels. They have a special icon. Right-click>Properties… and change properties for the entire selection.
This works with different kinds of controls as well. The properties dialog will show only properties common to the entire selection.

I tried this, saved the page and when I re-open it all the 3D borders are back. I was on 24.8.3.2 and OK but now on 25.2.5.2 despite all the update options to NOT update!

I confirm. I also used Villeroy’s trick (thanks!), but it comes back when I reopen.
.
It’s very annoying! I know people are volunteers, but the situation should be fixed, and version 25.8.0.2 doesn’t fix the problem. I tried it, and the same problem occurred.
.
I reinstalled version 25.2.4 and I accept LibreOffice Updater is harassing me.
