Hi pyoye
If you have Reset your Profile (Q59016) + checked that both your UI language + Help file language are identical, then it is a bug. Report direct at Bugzilla or the Bug Submission Assistant.
Update 2021:
A number of folks do not realise that the modern embedded Help-Pack launches within a browser, in exactly the same way as remote Help. The difference, of course, is that remote help requires an Internet connection + is acquired from a remote server (the browser address begins with https://
) whereas embedded help can be used offline + launches from local storage (the browser address normally begins with file://
).
Internal requirements for embedded Help are:-
- That the Help install file-version has the exact same 4-section Version number as the installed program
(eg Version: 6.1.5.2
; this can be found via menu:Help | About LibreOffice
)
- That the Help install file-language is identical to the program UI language
(program language is found/changed at: `menu:Options | Language Settings | Languages)
- The Help install file needs to be the correct one for your machine’s Operating System (OS)
(Note: you also need to match the LO-program bitwidth (32-bit or 64-bit))
(all program + help-pack install files ever produced for every OS are archived here for download)
