How can I get fractions not to set as special characters?

Casual, non-math user here. I want to get fractions to set inline (e.g. 1/2) and not with the numerator above the denominator. I have enough trouble seeing without trying to peer at those tiny numbers.
But I can’t find an option to not have fractions set special, so is there any trick I can use?

I guess you have to switch off or adapt autocorrect for this:

Calc: AutoCorrect and fractions

Calc wants to change my fractions in cells from “1/4” to “¼” and I want to stop that for this document or range of cells in document.
