This may be a bug, but it started happening where this is my normal view and I can find no way to change it back to the usual vertical, one page at a time scrolling deal.

Got it; it’s an option in the status bar (which I had hidden). The little pages with corners…select the single one!
And apparently I can’t close my own question…
