i am doing a stacked bar chart, would like to see the values inside the chart, and if possible also the total of each bar on top of the bar

Do not have a method for total on top of a bar. Not certain it is possible.
Example:
Select chart with a double left mouse click. Each section of the stack needs to be done separately. Left mouse click on a stack section - in example blue (Amount 1) was selected. Right mouse click and select Insert Data Labels. Do this for each section. In example there are three sections. After inserting, you can again right click & perform other formatting with Format Data Labels... selection.
