I have limited desktop space and I think the .~lock. files are a serious eyesore. I need to have hidden files shown as I do work with other hidden files often. As far as I can tell there is no way to hide specific files that are already marked as hidden. Is there any other way that I can hide these lock files? If I can’t hide them how do I disable file locking? I don’t believe disabling file locking will be a problem as this is my home computer and I’m the only one who uses it at all; It doesn’t share files over any networks. I’m on Windows 7.
Keep the files in another directory, then put shortcuts to them on the desktop if necessary.
