how to add/display icon to ole object in libreOffice

I am inserting a ole object(.doc, .xls, .pdf) in LibreOffice but instead of icon of that file it displays a content of file.
How to display the icon of that embedded file…
If i need to do customization then please post some solutions for the same

The icon feature is currently only available for Windows. If that is your operating system, find a description in Display as Icon option missing in Libreoffice while creating OLE object - #3 by Regina.
