I am trying to add a white number into

the black center of this image. I have read the online information provided but it is unclear to me what to do
Hi. I think you are expecting the Automatic font setting to switch to white. The problem is that the image is a bitmap type (.gif) so I am not sure that LibreOffice recognise the colour.
You could:
- Double-click the centre and start typing. You would need to select all the text (Ctrl+A) and manually set it to white in Properties in the Sidebar
- A more flexible approach would be to create a textbox (Insert > Text box), enter your text in it and change the text to white. Centre the text box over the image and Group them.
With the text box selected, you could now create a new style which you could apply to other text boxes as needed. The advantage is that you can make one Modify change, to change all text boxes of that style - You could copy the shape by drawing two Bezier curves, subtract one from the other and add a circle in the centre. Now by double clicking in the circle the text will automatically change to white.
