How to completely uninstall LibreOffice from Mac before to install the new version

Hello,

My macOS is Sierra 10.12.4, I have an old version of LibreOffice (4.3.6.2) and I would like to get the last version. Before to install the new version, I need to uninstall (completely) the old version of LibreOffice. Is it enough to move the software from “Applications” to the “trash can”?
Thank you very much

Where can one find official information about first uninstalling a prior LO version – and any related files – before installing a new version?

Why can’t you just trash the current LibreOffice.app file and then continue as if installing LO for the first time?

In addition you can delete the user profile with the instructions here: [Tutorial] User profile
