How To? In Write, create relative link in output PDF

From LibreOffice Write, I want to create a PDF with relative links (a link works on a local drive or on a web site, so does not specify a protocol). I know PDF has this capability as does HTML.

I LibreOffice Write, I’ve tried various hyperlinks, but the emitted PDF does not end up with a relative link. If I enter a document hyperlink, when I edit the link its changed to a http: or file: link which is wrong (maybe another LibreOffice bug ?).

Anybody know how to create a relative link that will be properly reproduced in exported PDF?

Is it possible to link images relatively to document?

In a Writer document I can either embed an image or link to source. However, the latter always seems to use an absolute file path. Since I want to write a paper in collaboration with others we use a shared drive and have all images in a folder in the same directory as the odt-file. Thus, it would be great if we could link pictures with a relative file path similar to e.g. LaTeX as “./figures/file.png” instead of using the absolute path which is specific to a user’s PC… Is that somehow possible…
