Literally Libreoffice 6.x became not only a trash but also a very risky tool for the users.
Plz refer to my previous questions about the malfunctions of Libreoffice 6.x.
I raise another degraded functionality of Libreoffice 6.x here.

And what is the question?
QUESTION: Where do I supposed to go to inspect the source code and authors of each code change?

Btw, that appears to be not a LibreOffice bug but a GTK bug on GNOME. If a menu has a submenu as first entry then if one types too fast the next mnemonic key after the Alt+… accelerator, the mnemonic key gets pushed to the window context instead of the menu context. Reproducible in a Gnome Terminal with Alt+F and W (for New Window). If one waits until the first submenu opened this does not happen. But then hovering the mouse over a menu entry with submenu the menu closes.
It has nothing to do with the interval between Alt+f & u in Writer. It’s something to do with Version 5.x & 6.x on both Fedora and Archlinux. I always wait enough before the next short-key.
It has to do with interval between key strokes. Hold the Alt key down after Alt+F for 2 seconds and then hit u and you’ll see the list of recently used files submenu The difference between LibreOffice 5.x and 6.x is that 6.x at some point started to to use GTK3 menues.
