I’m currently running Version: 7.6.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
I’ve got a writer document that is password protected which won’t accept my password.
It say my password is incorrect.
I know I’m putting my password in correctly.
Is it possible the file is Corrupt & is there a way to fix it?
And so, what is the question? If it is about working around password protection, no hope for it. Contents is encrypted with a strong cypher algorithm.

EDIT:
If the file was corrupt, LO would have told so because it needs to read the file to discover it is password-protected. Anyway, only try to “fix” things on a copy in case things turn worse.
Are you 200% sure you enter the right password?
What kind of file, Text, spreadsheet, presentation, document?, with ODF format or MS format?
A writer document with odf format.
I use it to store codes.
Do you save the file with that 7.6 version?
No it was about two or three versions before 7.6, I can’t remember which version I last used to last saved it.
