I currently use LibreOffice (v6.2.7.1) under macOS Mojave (v10.14.6). Unfortunately, LibreOffice always crashes after a few seconds “Due to an unexpected error”.
The issue remains in safe mode, i.e., even when I reset my user settings. I have also tried to reinstall the application and downgrade to an older version, but with no luck.
Since I cannot upload plain text files, I have attached the error report from macOS as ODT: libreoffice-error-report.odt
Any ideas what I could do?

One idea: If you have enabled Check for Updates automatically disable this (your error report tells about thread 6 related to Update check is crashing).

your error looks like bug #tdf127619 - Thus I’d recommend to disable any Automatic Update checks until there is a fix for this problem.

I’ve been trying to fix this for a fortnight and am delighted that there is a workaround - add me to the (long) list of folks who have this bug - OSX 10.14.6, LibreOffice 6.3.xx or 6.2.xx.
As already supposed in a comment of the bug, I also believe that there was a change in Mac OS X on the last update, which now causes LibreOffice to crash.
