LibreOffice crashes whenever I save as

Hi,
Everytime I try to “save as” on a LibreOffice file (whether writer or spreadsheet), the programme freezes and achieves nothing, or worse crashes. I don’t even get to the step of choosing file name & type, the box simply doesn’t appear, I just get a loading graphic on my cursos & then nothing.

Have uninstalled & re-installed, same problem.
Have changed reset user profile by renaming the old one “old” & triggering a new one, same problem.

I’m running LibreOffice 7.1.4.2
On MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

Please help!

Hello! I just followed the instructions in the other post, granting LibreOffice full disk access in the Security prefs panel. It had not previously had full access. However, I still get the spinning blue ball when I try to “Save As…” Then I tried rebooting my Mac in Safe Mode, letting it do its thing, then rebooting normally. LibreOffice still freezes on “Save As…” Any other suggestions?

LibreOffice 6.4.7.2
MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
