LibreOffice database jre message

I recently downloaded LibreOffice v.7.3.1.3 and I am running mac OS 10.13.6.

When I try to work in the database I get a dialog that says my JRE is defective. I have downloaded the latest JRE and still I cannot begin a database. I believe I have set up everything properly, but no change.
Any advice would be appreciated on how to proceed. Thanks
