Why LO, in Mint and other Ubuntu like systems, that are in dark mode, still not able to switch to light mode?
If freeoffice and onlyoffice can do it, why LO can’t?
Did you try going to Tools - Options - LibreOffice - View and changing the drop-down box near the top from System to Light?
What happens?
Do you have Flatpack or Snap? Maybe ask those maintainers.
@EarnestAl suggestion should work, but it doesn’t on a Debian trixie (unstable) and LO 7.5.5.2 . The dialog has no effect. I did edit the .desktop file trying to set a GTK_THEME=Adwaita env var after its Exec keyword. Didn’t work, so took the wrench (editor) and
put export GTK_THEME=Adwaita somewhere at the beginning of
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice
this works
