Logging options for LibreOffice running on Windows 10/11

I’m seeing some slow loading issues on a number of LibreOffice files mainly Calc spreadsheets. This is on Windows 10 or 11 and a variety of v24.x.x and the latest v25 clients. The same files open almost immediately for someone using LO on Linux but we can’t all have that luxury.

I’ve disabled option(s) that can hang up whilst looking for a printer, changed default printer to a pdf writer, ensured skia is used, running in safe mode, and a few other things with no luck.

Is there a way I can put LO on Windows into a logging mode when I try to open these files to see if it gives any hints as to what and when it’s struggling with to load the files?

I’ve searched through Windows event viewer and there’s nothing in there related to LO.

There’s no logging mode in LibreOffice.
Your options include:

1. Creation of a minidump, and then attaching it to a bug report.
2. Building a debug version yourself, and debugging it.
