Linux mint 20 Cinnamon 64 bit.
When creating a new style, after the name there should be a Next_style box.
I get the name box and then the Inherit from box but no Next_style box.
This lesson shows this box.
http://bvres.org/Schoolhouse-web-page/schoolhouse_files/LibreOffice_pdf/Lesson_3_Formatting_Page_Styles.pdf.
Subsequently no page styles are applied, I need background image.
This problem was experienced on Mint 19.3 as well. upgrading did not resolve it.
How do I resolve this?
- Which LibreOffice version?
- Which package repository (Mint’s default, PPA, TDF[libreoffice.org])?
- Are you sure creating a new Page Style or are you in fact defining a new Character Style, which has no Next Style?
My Mint 20 shows
using (package repository for my installation is libreoffice.org)
Version: 7.0.1.2, Build ID: 7cbcfc562f6eb6708b5ff7d7397325de9e764452
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: en-US, Calc: threaded
Version: 6.4.5.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.5-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
Default Mint repository
My actions are:
View → Styles
On Panel on the right that opens, Click on Page Style Icon on top.
Right click on Default , new Page Style box is displayed.
I can give it a New name but nothing is saved.
